Behind the print and digital pages of BCBusiness lies a team of media professionals spanning several departments at Canada Wide Media, from sales and circulation to art and editorial, where a daily newsroom connects audiences in real time to the latest news and events impacting business in British Columbia. Editor-in-Chief Tom Gierasimczuk leads the charge.
Meet The Editor
Tom Gierasimczuk | Vice President, Editorial Editor-In-Chief, BCBusinessAn award-winning media executive and storyteller, Tom Gierasimczuk is also editor-in-chief of BCBusiness magazine, Canada Wide’s blue-chip consumer media title. He leads Canada Wide Media’s continued excellence in cross-platform content delivery and ensures the company is on the cutting edge of audience engagement.
Previously he was editorial director at Rogers Media-owned Marketing magazine in Toronto and at Calgary-based RedPoint Media Group, where he was named Editor of the Year in 2010 by the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association. He sits on the leadership board of the Canadian Marketing Association, consults for the U.S.-based Content Marketing Institute and speaks and writes extensively about the state of marketing and advertising in Canada and beyond.
Tom also sits on numerous juries and judging panels that celebrate the best work of Canada's marketers and storytellers, and also volunteers his time to mentoring students entering Canada's creative industries.
